  So according to World Health Organization (WHO) dem explain FGM for us as when person commot the outside part of our punani or when dem give you mark for dere for no reason at all, even if na doctor do am e no still good. FGM/C(Female Genital Mutilation/ Cutting) na also anoda name for FGM.

  Dis act no get age, dem fit do am when the pikin still dey like 9months old or when dey enter teenage age or when she wan marry. About 200millon girls and women do already do this thing and most of dem survive am, and 3million girls dey at risk every year. some people think say na only village people dey do am but my dear people e dey even happen for city even for obodo oyibo. You no go believe say 32% of women wey dey don cut dey city and na only 19% of dem dey villa.

·       Wound healing problem

·       Infections

·       Sometimes Death

·       Excessive bleeding
